I would like to begin by praising Allah, The Most High, and also send my salat and salaams to the best of creation, Muhammad. May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him and his noble family, and his companions.

I am exceptionally grateful to Allah for guiding me to Islam and the Sunnah. Struggling to be Muslim for more than 18 years now, looking back on the difficult tests and trials I have had to endure to maintain my Islam, I am wondering how to put all the emotions into words.

Holding on to Islam has been like holding on to hot coals to say the least, but in spite of the challenge, it is well worth it and I learn something beautiful about Allaah's deen almost every day.  I just hope that on the judgment day, my good deeds outweigh my bad deeds, and Allah has mercy on me.

I pray that my small contributions to the Muslim Ummah will be solely for the face of Allah and that it will add up on my scale of good deeds, on that day when every bit of good will be needed to tip the scales in my favour of entering into eternal paradise.
